How we control the quality in the whole manufacturing process? let have a close look.

Raw material inspection.

Definition:Raw material inspeciton is to select material for the manufacturing or processing at factory at the first stage. It is an inspection and test on all aspects of material to determine or verify materials to meet the requirement. For ergonomic office chairs, raw material concerns to plastic parts, aluminum connector, aluminum parts, foam, mesh, fabric,mechenism, gaslift, screws, castors ,alumunum and other plastic components,etc.

Before specify how we inspect the raw material, there is one point need to clarify. All the suppliers Hookay cooperating are the top ones in the office chair industry, for example, mesh is we use Korea brand Wintex, gaslift is we use KGS,etc. It is important to choose the top ones and reliable suppliers before long term cooperation.

What we do:

1.Taking in a random way of Sampling inspection in proportion in a batch and counting the number of defects for each category of defects or the number of products.

There are a group of professional raw material inspectors who operate according to the Hookay regulatory standards.

2. In hookay, we have a complet set of test machines to do test for the backrest, castor, mesh,armrest, seats,etc, and most important, the standards we operate are higher than BIFMA standard.  This is one thing we would like to emphasize here.

On Line Quality Control

Definition: On line quality control is a system which is performed during manufacturing process, during this checking, if any faults are found in half finished products, we  will take necessary steps to reduce the faults or to stop the process and take necessary  steps to improve it.

What we do

1. In hookay’s manufacturing process, there are several departments, backrest department, seats department, armrest department, mechenism department, packing department, cutting and sewing department, each department we have formed a group of  QC inspector to check if the workers are operating to the standard instruction, and to check if there are any problem in operating

2. Half-finished parts are 100% inspected. Every single piece of half-finished parts will be 100% inspected by QC inspectors and make sure every part is assured. For example, for the armrest, QC inspector will check the color, detail and building up,etc.

Function inspection

Definition

To inspect the whole ergonomic chair function, as all Hookay’s chair are with a variety of adjustability, to check the function before packing is essential

What we do

A group of professional Inspectors are set up to make 100% function inspection. Every chair is assembled with gaslift to check if the gaslift is working correctly. The hight adjustment function, the sliding adjustment, the back tilting adjustment,the armrest adjustment functions are all checked by them, they will sit on the chair to adjust everything using their expertise to carefully inspect. Measurement, assembly checking,  Swivel tests 

Stability tests, Visual inspection for workmanship are also carefully checked.

Finished product inspection

 Finished products Inspection takes place at the warehouse. The goods need to be ready for shipping. This inspection is a visual check of specifications, quantities, dimensions, packing requirements and shipping marks, it is operated and checked by proportion.

QC tracking code.

Each mechenism have a tracking number sticked under the mechenism, once found a problem, we will know exactly the production date, who produced then we can find the problem right away to avoid future problem,this is an effective way to control the quality problem.
